Western Bay of Plenty development plan

Western Bay of Plenty is growing. To ensure power is available when and where homes and businesses need it, the region’s electricity infrastructure needs to grow too.

We’re working with Transpower, owner and operator of the national grid, to plan and deliver the essential upgrades on the electricity network that are needed to enable western Bay of Plenty to continue to flourish, now and in the future.

This is a long-term programme with delivery spanning over the next 10 years.
