Kiwibots
We’re helping spark a passion for STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) among tamariki through our partnership with Kiwibots.
Kiwibots work with schools and parents to make STEM fun using robots.
Our partnership with Kiwibots begun in 2022, and since then we have helped support five schools into the programme - Te Kura Waenga o Tirohanga Monrad, St Peter’s College Pasifika Robotics Group, Te Kura o Roslyn, Te Kura o Takaro and Highlands Intermediate.
The partnership entails providing competition kits for the schools, staff training and ongoing support, and registration for regional Kiwibots competitions. By participating in Kiwibots, children develop critical skills like creativity, teamwork, and logical thinking— encouraging them to pursue careers in STEM fields while fostering a passion for technology and innovation from an early age.
